First time-
Lots of practice is recommended! 
Lots of fun, fast four hours- even at a ~35/hour rate.
I forgot about using 2nd vfo to get away from your freq. quicker.
I am very, very fortunate to have looked at K6TR's Sprint Survival website
about an hour before the start & setup keying macros accordingly in the minutes
leading in to kick-off.
First 2 hours on 40m and last 2 hours on 80m.
There is much to learn.
