Comments:
First night/day were like pulling teeth...!! Conditions just seemed terrible...
So much in fact...I went to bed early...
I thought I was transmitting into a dummy load...just could NOT get anything
going...Signal just wasn't there...But..if there was a silver lining Saturday
at all, it was that JAs was fairly easy!....but nothing else...
2nd day was much much better... MUCH....Just could NOT make up the QSOs lost
the first day....
15M was much better last year...and so...we STILL need sunspots!!!
THEN....there was the N1MM scoring problem...I understand someone noticed it
scoring 2 points for USA QSOs.. I think on 40M...well... That little issue took
me from a claimed 3.3 million...to 2.9.... GREAT CONTEST....!! still one of my
favorite!
Still think 2000 QSOs is very doable LP from here....
Will continue to improve set up here...much improved but everything still 100%
manual...(disconnect / reconnect filters and coaxes etc.......
BUT ...when I get the filters in place....and correct switching...I am moving
to HP...I HATE calling more than once or twice! <smiling>
See you in the next one!
