Comments:
Slow start in first hour as had a feedline connector problem and lost about 40
mins.
Had to ask for a number of fills on serial numbers, particularly to JA and EU
as band was up and down. Some very good ops encountered who hung with me in
making the confirmation. However, a handfull of guys gave their call one time
and serial number once, moving immediately off frequency. Those will not be in
my log.
Some were a little impatient at times, as I was listening predominately on the
stacks but when hearing signals off the back, switched to the 4 square in an
attempt to enhance my reception and accuracy of copying the report.
Several folks not programming F Keys to give just the serial number and on
repeat/fills, gave the entire exchange.
More activity the first night on the "graveyard shift" than the second night.
Great JA opening Sat. morning and more JAs Sunday morning. Same applied to EU
with most solid signals first night, however, started working EU at 3pm eastern
Sat afternoon.
All in all, it was a great experience, however, running on 3rd trick is better
left up to the youngsters or those with insomnia. :)
Thanks to everyone for your participation and as always, my sincere thanks to
W8JI.
73'....Fred WW4LL
