Comments:

First night was plenty busing working all of the easy multipliers (if you call
busting through Caribbean pileups easy). Only worked CT and G in Europe.
Managed to get about 80 Japanese in the log the first night. Was hoping for a
solid opening into Europe on the second night - but it was not to be. Did
spend about two hours calling OM3GI - who was the only European I could hear
most of the evening. He would get bits of my call on a QSB peak - but we never
completed a QSO.

CT1GPQ had a good signal. Did manage a QSO with J88DR for a new country - so
that made up for six hours with no QSOs in the log. Worked three other mults
in the morning and a couple of JAs. Someday - we will get Europe while this
contest is running!!

Rig - K3 + 2 x 3-500Z to a loaded tower and a few beverages.
