Comments:

Spent Thursday trying to get to the 160 meter W1 beverage but the
snow was too deep. Found out Saturday it was the 1025 box and
not the wire after all. A good thing because topband was very noisy
Saturday night. I still hate moose even if they were innocent. They
have a bad track record around here.

No ten but we tried, 15 was 15 during the low sunspots, no surprise
there. N6MJ at W6YI was s9+40 on 15 running a CQ machine with
no takers. The next bounce to JA will be there in a few years and the
W6's guys will start working Japan instead of Alaskan. But for now
they are loud to KL7 and I believe we worked them all, 1 watt tuna
can specials to dipoles in basements, etc. Thanks.

20 closed early to the lower 48 but it was a great band with loud Europe
to work if this was the WW contest. 40 opened early but also went to
Europe all night. I did manage to squeak out a few US stations during
their sunrise when they lose Europe but it's too painful and no rate. 80
was lot's of cqing and then 5 guys pop up after a spot, all W6. 160 had
good rate and being a topband guy I always spend too much time there.

Thanks to Wigi, AL7IF for flying down and sharing chair time. These are
always more fun when you are multi-op. Many M&M's were eaten but
I have serious doubt we had that many mults. The one M&M per mult
somehow morphed to one handful between CQ's. 73 Rich KL7RA
