Comments:

40 meter antennas only here at home.

Lost my amp at 1:00 PM Sunday and put the little backup in line. Don't know why
it failed. Time to open the bag of spare FET's. So went from 1500 watts to 500.
Didn't seem to matter though. If I heard them, I worked them easily. Ran the
omni vertical pattern 80% of the time. Not as much EU as in the past but big
time USA participation. Good conditions on 40m too. No VK and JA for me this
time... very unusual. Did work a ZL long path.
 
Lots of fun and worked a bunch of friends. 40+% increase over my last 40m only
Roundup three years ago. Just one state (AK) shy of RTTY W.A.S.
 
An unusual number of poor ops this year. Usually there are very few. For
example: sending their info before they are recognized. That happened too
much.

By tomorrow I will be ready for 2010 RTTY Roundup.
