Comments:

On vacation this week at Chincoteague Is., VA. I duct-taped two fiberglass poles
to the dock behind the house and made 1/4-wave wire verticals for 40 and 20. 2
elevated radials each about 4 feet above salt water. Rig was an Elecraft KX1,
about 5W out. Unfortunately this KX1 didn't have the 80m module (borrowed from
my dad).

I operated sitting in the dark on the dock in pretty high winds...in the rush
to get set up in the dark I lost my pencil and had to go back to the house to
get another...missed the first 5 minutes.

As I didn't bring any coax here, to change bands I had to undo some binding
posts and wire nuts and move the rig to the other pole. Kinda slow :)
