Comments:
Congratulations to the W3LPL team. Frank and the LPL team did an outstanding
job. It is super to have great competition among the USA Multi Multi teams and
W3LPL is at the top. It takes lots of effort to make it all happen at a
multi multi station and it is lots of FUN! Good job Frank and LPL crew!
This contest and the ARRL DX CW contest were dedicated to our long time Western
PA friend and now SK, John, K3TUP. His spirit is still very much with us
and we know he is with us every step of the way.
The K3LR contestmen worked very hard this weekend. The dedicated and driven
K3LR Team really pushed for every QSO and made the best of what the sun gave
us.
The 11 operating chairs were manned at all times and even in low QSO periods,
everyone kept at it. Thanks to all operators that traveled from across the
country (and Chris from DL land) to join us for the last contest of the season
at K3LR! What a great way to spend 48 hours - with the best of friends talking
to our friends around the world!
My sincere thanks to my good friend Dave, W9ZRX who works many many hours
getting things ready and then keeps them running here at K3LR so that these
contests come off very smooth. We could not do this with him. Everything worked
great.
