Comments:
Congratulations to the K3LR team for another exceptionally strong effort. This
time the propagation gods shined a little more brightly on the mid-Atlantic
states, and we enjoyed better propagation to Europe than our "Almost Ohio"
friends.
52 ten meter QSOs during the strong 2130-2230Z opening on Sunday gave us just a
hint of the great conditions we'll enjoy with the return of sunspot activity.
Two skew path KH6 QSOs really livened up that hour. It was a blast after hours
and hours of grinding boredom on 10 meters this weekend.
Stronger competition in recent years encouraged us to steadily improve our
station, antenna and operating teams. Here at the bottom of the sunspot cycle
we were fortunate to win both the CW and SSB Multi-Multi competitions, the
first time we've done that since 1999.
