Comments:

This was not an easy ride. Not very many stations, but still noticeable qrm.

In contrary to a number of contests this year, a bad rainy weather
brought also a lot of static. In Saturday was this manageable somehow,
but Sunday was worse, like someone would be standing below the waterfall all
day
long. 

The top antenna and stack was most of the time
not usable due to high noise level with exception of some short quiet periods.

e.g. Sunday morning was lost on long pass VK/ZL with just four stations being
logged, much better was in Saturday. During short quiet periods, there was
immediately spotted calls of some of those rare picked VKs (in Sunday). 
Very much the same in the afternoon with US propagation.

This was all in addition to a not very good general propagation on the band.
Actually, on positive side, have some mixed feelings about propagation. 
Some very good signals came
from distant stations as KH2, KG6, KH6, AH0, KL7, as well as appeared that 
CX, CE, LU, PY stations called from the back of the beam pointed to JA.

The propagation to Japan and in particular to US was marginal during the 
EU afternoon, but with sligthly higher rate after the local dark hours and band

closure in the evening.

In general, a few qsos less than last year, some pfx more, and looks
like more dx in bag gave also better total score.
