Comments:

Well, this was my first ever CW contest and I started with the mother of all CW
contests. I understand now why people like it. It is fun, even though
conditions were not very good. I am still not very confident in my CW skills,
so this was 100 S&P. Found out two things about my setup. First, my radio
(Kenwood TS-570D) is just absolute junk when it comes to CW contesting. My ears
are still ringing from noise and intermods. Second, break in my tri-bander's
rotor is bad and during very windy Saturday my antenna was free rotating
driving me crazy as I was suddenly losing signals. I was pleased to hear a lot
of African stations.
