Club: Yankee Clipper Contest Club

Comments:

I flew over to Maui on Saturday for a visit.  I didn't
get on the air until the last five hours of the contest.
Every contact was an effort trying to get through the
stateside signals as well as a big mountain to the east
of me.  Fifteen meters sounded real good and I was surprised
to make a few contacts on 10 meters.

Downer:  Before I left the mainland I did a little listening
on Friday night.  I heard OX2A on 7122 with lots of W's answering
him on his frequency.  Has the 40m phone band been expanded below
7125?
