Comments:

FT1000MP, 100W, dipole, zepp. 40M was pretty good tonight, but not too many
different stations or different states were heard. Managed QSOs with GA and TN
stations without good skip. Others all seemed strong. Thanks for all QSOs.
Most of this week, I have been listening and hoping to work YI9PSE. All I had
heard was the pileups of callers. After 0300Z today, I was still sitting at
the rig and refiguring the score after adding the dupe QSOs back in and I
decided to listen again for YI9PSE. I started at the bottom of 40M and someone
was running stations split. It was YI9PSE with a pretty good signal. Earlier
on 40, I had heard only two statons from Europe (HA and G stations). I got
them on the second call. If it hadn't been for NS, I would have been in bed by
the time of my YI9 QSO. So, thanks to NS for a new band country. Actually I
had worked my old friend Jim, WA4PXP, operating the YI9DXX remote station in
Iraq on 40 CW a few years ago and sent my QSL and SASE via W7DXX as directed,
but never got any response. I am sure of the band country QSL now.

Please look for the GA QSO Party this weekend. Jeff, KU8E and I plan to be
mobile as K4BAI/M in 41 GA counties. We have commitments for every one of GA's
159 counties to be QRV in GQP this year. Who will be the first to work all 159
in one weekend? Please join in the fun. 73, John, K4BAI.
