Had to work Friday night, then move my daughter Saturday from Lawrence to KC.
Despite no sleep in 30 hours I put in a short effort after arrivng home in
Wichita Saturday eve. Ran 5 W and a 40 ft wire I tossed up in a tree. Best DX
NO3M WPA and N6MA AZ. Even worked W5AJ in the "rare" West Texas section, often
miss that one even with high power! Can tell who can hear on 160 -- some ops
got me first call, others a struggle. Nice to see good activity in the ARRL 160
from Kansas, worked K0PY, W0BH, K0WA and heard N0XM from the Sunflower State.
