Comments:

I put up a new Butternut HF2V vertical antenna just before the contest. 
Installed 12 radials, and tied them to the 23 existing radials previously
installed for my inverted-vee.

I could operate 1800-1860 without retuning, thanks to the great automatic tuner
in the K3 transceiver.  Much more convenient than using the inverted vee, and I
worked almost everything I could hear.
