Ant: Home made wire vertical
Rig: TS-440S, used at 50 to 100 wtts.

Decent conditions even for a station with such simple antenna. Unfortunately I
had some local noise nearly all the time and ended up S&P, working only loud
stations. Early mornings were fine and band was crystal clear so I could run
some CQ‘s.

W2 and W3 was a big problem and I did not hear any until nearly the end of the
contest. The same was about Canada when I finally worked a VE8, also heard a
VE1 briefly but could not make a contact.

Great contest overall. I wish I operated from a quiet location.
