Had a very good time, even without 40M playing nicely. What happened on Friday
night? The band disappeared by 0130z. At least it was back by Saturday
afternoon for the great-fun finale.
Don't think I have had more Qs and mults on 80M than 40M before in RAC Winter
-- 80M was in very great shape across NA.
20M was a bit rougher than I expected. Stalled at just 9 mults there, and
finished with exactly the same Q count as last year.
Worked PEI on 80M, but nowhere else... that's four or five mults missing from
the log. Not a single NT, NU or YT in the log... another 12 or so potential
band-mults missing (though I hardly ever find them anyway). Also missed AB, QC
and MB on 15M. I'm sure they were all there to be found.
15M didn't open quite as widely E-W as hoped for. Had a lot more Qs on 15M last
year, but same mult total (5).
Very good to see at least one mult (ON) and a handful of Qs on 10M.
Second-best ever this year. A bit more time calling on 40M early Saturday
morning, or perhaps being more persistent on 15M, would have put me over the
top.
