Comments:

Because of a previous commitment with my XYL, I only operated the first night at
the W3LPL 160 Meter position. Didn’t start to work the contest at home until
03:00Z Sunday. I connected the DX Cluster to CT for the first time ever at the
K1HTV home station. I have always done ‘Unassisted’ in previous contests,
searching for stations and mults on my own, but this time thought I’d try
something new (for me). 

I used the ‘Point-and-Click’ method to move the K3 to the frequency of the
next station to be worked, using only DX Cluster spots. I was surprised that it
worked so well, running only 100 Watts and wire antennas. I operated 12 hours
and ended up with 388K more points for PVRC.
