Well...that was fun. I had planned to beat my own best score from 2006, but it
wasn't to be. Saturday was just plain hard work. I could never really get a run
going. I always think of me being loud even for low power but that wasn't the
way Sat. felt. When I took my break I was about 200 Q's short of where I had
wanted to be. I was up on mults though including some from Europe that I
wouldn't have to battle for on Sunday morning. 20 was wall to wall. I thought
conditions were really pretty good. 15 yielded some mults, but not much else.
40 was fine when I got there, which was earlier than usual.

Sunday was a good solid day. I didn't break my record, but I ended up close
(within 10K points) and I had more mults than I have ever gotten from the
"black hole of West Texas." Europe was better than it has been, but I couldn't
penetrate the far north stations for some reason. I could hear them great, but
they weren't hearing me.

I thank everyone for all the Qs. I worked a lot of folks that weren't in the
SCP. That's a really good thing. I did get pushed off freq by the hi power guys
a little more than usual...but that's contesting.
