Comments:

Murphy is a real BA***RD!

The new rotor on the big tower is bad already (thanks a lot…Hy-Gain, MFJ,
etc)

It was stuck for a while but was able to eventually get about 200 degrees of
rotation.

10 was non-existent.  15 was slim pickings.  20 was lame…for twenty!

40, 80 & 160 were great!

 

About 2300z I took a break and wolfed down some leftovers in the kitchen. 
About 30 minutes later I wasn’t feeling so great.  About an hour later while
in the middle of a wonderful run on 40, I made one of several dashes to the
porcelain room.  Ordinarily, I can eat steel wool and ground glass with no
apparent ill effects.  I think I could count on one hand the number of times
I’ve had stomach problems in my 60 years.  It was really stomping on the urge
to play ham radio!

 

It was at times fun!
