Comments:

Boy, I just love this contest.  It has some great qualities of
a good contest:  huge rates and only 10 hours.  Which means it's
only 10 hours of my wife complaining that I'm doing a contest.

Started out very slow with rates under 80 the first two hours.
I just couldn't get squat going on 20M, and even worse with 15M
on the 2nd radio.  Part of me thinks I should have been on 40M
more, but then I fear I would have missed what few mults I did
get on 15M.

Due to the bands going long so early, I only took a 41 minute
break in the 00z hour in order to get my daughter dinner (you'd
think my wife could take care of that) and I took the last 1:20
of the contest off.  If we have similar conditions next year,
I think I should take off the first hour, as rates on 160 have
got to be better than a 70 rate on 20M.  Although, RFI noise
continues to be a problem at this QTH, especially on the low
bands.  S8-9 on 160M with CW filter.  Sorry if you called and
I didn't hear you.

It was great to hear all the tributes to Ken and Dallas.
And it was kinda eery to work K4OJ Jim.

Worked only one HI (WH6R), one ND (W0CZ), one MB (VE4EAR),
and WV on one band (two stations).  NE was the only state
not worked on any band, plus PEI, NU, NWT and YT missed.
I think I only passed about 3 stations all contest long.
Dumb on my part.

0247:          5 per minute     (300/hr)
0117:         27 per 10 minutes (162/hr)
0134:        120 per hour
0100:        111 clock hour

So, while this is a highly popular NA contest, it certainly
hasn't gotten to the point where people need to nuzzle in
100 Hz away from you.  Funny thing is that they start with
a CQ on your freq, then move a teeny tiny bit away, maybe
70 Hz, then a bit further.  And of course it's the larger stations
who try to do the squeeze play, forcing you to vacate.  They
like to pretend that you are outside of their passband and
not bothering them, therefore they shouldn't be bothering you.
But it's not the case.  One very prominent contester in VE 
tried for a bit but after a little while, I guess he changed
his mind.  Maybe some believe this is NASCAR...rubbin' is racin'.
