Comments:

Conditions on second night were very bad from this location in Colorado. I had
a decent European opening on Friday evening but not on Saturday evening. Snow
static in the area as well as soft propagation prevented more European
contacts. Multipath prop on Saturday night proved to be troublesome as it made
some of the copy on DX extremely difficult.

I must add that I did not hear any frequency squabbles even though the band was
absolutely wall to wall with stations spaced as close to each other as possible.
A good receiver was in order for this contest.

Lastly, I want to thank the contest organizers for moving the start and finish
time up a couple of hours. Obviously, all east coast guys. It is nice that
the contest starts in the dark for the east and in the middle of the afternoon
for the west. Also, it is nice for the contest to end in the dark for the east
and in the middle of the afternoon for the west. I am very happy for you boyze
back east.
