Comments:

Full-time effort; our last chance to use the University of Chicago
club station for an IARU contest before the antennas and building have
to come down early next year to make way for a brand new building.
Much of the station will have to be mothballed for several years.

Decided to chance a low-power operation. This seemed questionable
with early band conditions, but later Saturday night it was no problem
at all. It was amazing to hear 20 meters in great shape well past
midnight, and the move to the 40, 80, and 160 for multipliers was
considerably delayed as a result. One handicap of the low power was
some missed mults. (TF4X on 20, 8N5A and the R3 JA station on 40).

An early question was: Where were all the WRTC stations? The answer
came when several answered CQs (a good run - finally - on 14028). They
must have been doing a lot of S & P. Then, starting around 0220Z, 20
meters picked up and the R3's were lined up like ducks in a row, one
after the other up the band. Ended up picking up 37 of the 50.

Had forgotten how enjoyable this contest is; the last one was operating
the Cornell club station, W2CXM, in 2006, with almost the same score
(309,120), fewer QSOs (663), but more multipliers (140).
