Comments:

Well another one for the books. Conditions were not even remotely the best, but
they were good enough to get on the air and have some fun, eat some great food,
have some nice visits try something new, and test our emergency power
capabilities. We operated this FD from the K6LRG site, overlooking the
Altamont pass in, Livermore, CA. Noteable Es openings througout the field day
operating period on 6m, including double hop Es into the east coast from W6
providing a nice log boost. On HF, Good rates were achieved on both 20m and
40m bands on both SSB and CW. Interesting satelite contacts, demo's of weak
sig modes, etc. We invited locals who wanted to see the station or operate,
even just hang out, and quite a few did. All seemed to have a fantastic time
and we had some great eyeball qso's.

I know I can speak for the entire K6LRG contest team and our supporters in
hoping you had a fantastic FD 2010, and look forward to hearing you on the air
again next year along with all the other contests we work in between!

73 and seeya next time

Chris
N6WM and the entire K6LRG contest team
