Comments:
This started out to be an SSB + RTTY operation. In previous FD operations I've
done over 1500 SSB Qs as a single op with no voice recorder. I lasted about 17
hours before I ran out of voice.
So I thought I'd try N1MM Logger as a voice box, but I just couldn't going with
it. I reinstalled the old standby, N3FPJ FD program and then wasted a bunch of
time trying to import some Q's from N1MM so I would have dupe checking. That
was a fiasco, so I said the heck with the whole thing and just ran RTTY on
20-meters. I think I worked every available station and had a few DX stations
call.
Forty-meters was full of buzz and the 80-meter noise level was S9+15 dB so
nothing doing there. With a very marginal inverted-v for 10 and 15 meters, I
couldn't do much there either. As usual 20-meters is the money band at this
QTH.
Where the heck is North Dakota on RTTY?
