Greetings from Florida!  I escaped the 100 degree weather in Washington, DC and
arrived in time to operate Field Day with an FT-817 (5 watts on battery power)
and a simple wire vertical antenna supported from a tree branch.  It's amazing
to hear the difference in band conditions here where being further south has
many advantages.  Many thanks to K4BFT for QSOs on two bands and providing
contacts for another Field Day after all these years of fun!
