Hello all,

Ran QRP this year again, most of my antennas were down due to the unusual
winter snowstorm we had this year. Took out almost all my HF wires. The W4TWW
inverted L was still up so I thought I would give the test a shot for a couple
of hours on Saturday evening. Naturally, Murphy came to visit, could not hear
anything on the L and the SWR was through the roof. Went out to investigate in
the dark muddy dog doo laden yard only to find out that my youngest lab did me
the favor of chewing my feedline in half! Did a quick splice(No solder, just
twist and electical tape) and was on the air. Managed to work a few stations,
many TNX once again go out for the Ops that take the time to listen for the
little guy. Had lots of fun and got to work a couple local club members (TNX
guys). Had a small opening to Europe Saturday evening, but did not get to work
any with such a disadvantage. Look forward to next year, lots of clear open
space in the yard since losing a few trees, time for a new wire antenna farm!
