Comments:

First time for me in this event and it was quite enjoyable. With my modest
station and non-directional wire antennas (OCF Dipole and Topband Inv L), and
as low power entry, I worked CW-only using the 100% S&P strategy seeking mults
vice rate.

I found 33 of the 92 unique OBLs (22 of which I worked only once) and 57 DXCC
entities (notable "rare" ones include R1-Antarctica, JT1, EK, ER, ZP and 4L).
I concentrated on high point-value QSOs, esp. any UAs, and minimized US/VE
contacts except for country mult on each band. 20m was of course the workhorse
band but UA mults were much harder to come-by elsewhere.

QSO/Point-value breakdown as follows:

61 - 10pt QSOs: 22% 45 UAs, 12 UA9/0, 3 UA2, 1 R1 (Antarctica)
192 - 5pt QSOs: 69%
9 - 3pt QSOs: 3%
16 - 2pt QSOs: 6%

Biggest challenge in this contest is ensuring the OTHER station has your
callsign/exchange correct due to contest rules imposing penalty on BOTH
stations for improper copy by EITHER station. Since I'm typically the weaker
signal I must improve on *ensuring* the other operator has copied my call
before providing my report. That didn't ALWAYS happen here although I did
provide many repeats.

Guess this wraps up the major CW contesting Winter season...next big CW event
is CQ WPX CW at end of May. See you in that one and thanks to all for the Q's
and fun!

73, Bill W1WBB
