FT-1000MP > AL-811 > 600W > 3el3b Yagi @19m


It was very hard to keep myself alive on the first day. I was able to start
with 1.5 hours sleep after a busy week.

This time I had an AL-811 and surprisingly the 600W made a difference... Now I
could hold the running frequency.

The conditions were moderate. 73% EU in the log, no NA propagation on Sat night
(at least from HA), lots of short skips to EU.

The weather conditions were severe during the weekend. I've never seen any
similar before. Sunshine in this moment and 50mm rain that moment in a 10
minutes time frame. On top of that it kept repeating this pattern several
times. Resulted sum 60 minutes disconnected antenna.


Good fun anyway. Preparing for the summer season.
