Too many family comittments to make a serious effort this year, so I set up shop with my 706 at my girlfriend's place and let her son take the mike. The reactions of some folks we talked to was great; "That doesn't sound like you, Sean!" The lil' guy dutifully looked up the state of every station we talked to and marked it on a map. "There sure are a lot of guys in Maryland!"

Not a big score, but certainly one of the best ham radio experiences I've had. Thanks for the contacts, folks!
