Comments:

Part One of a split operation for the weekend.  Tremendous rain storm in the Bay
Area caused major static problems for over an hour but fortunately, no power
loss. Had some technical problems, but no equipment damage.  By the time I got
into my stride, it was time for 40M -- that became my money band for the day. 
Fell short of my 750 QSO goal and missed NL, QC, and PR for the sweep.  Tough
conditions.  Not a fun contest -- even when things are going very well.  CU in
