Comments:

This is my favorite contest of the year and this was the first time I used an
amplifier in a DX contest.  I was running about 500 watts and this made a great
difference in the number of times I was asked for QTC's as well as 40M contacts.
 
I realize now that I made mistakes with QTC's in the early going and I hope my
mistakes do not hurt the partner station.  My score will/should suffer for
sure.  Had 3 band contacts with many stations. 15M had very nice openings but I
could not hear anything on 75M.  See you next year. - Karl
