Club: North Texas Contest Club

Comments:

Antennas in disarray.  Auto Remote Tuner for Vertical at manufacturer for
warranty repair, loaded vertical with 4:1 Balun and rig internal tuner.  Put
new coax run in to inverted vee point, a radio shack connector was the only
connector available before contest.  Hint, 100W can melt the cheap crummy
offshore produced PL-259s sold by the "shack".  Don't buy them, lesson really
learned.  Inverted Vee not available so lost some in-state mults without
close-in coverage.

Conditions quiet but not a lot of activity outside of Texas.  Did not hear any
other Henderson County stations.
