Comments:

I managed to get 8 hours of operating time at various points through the
weekend. I wish it could have been more, but life keeps interfering with Ham
Radio.

15 meters on Sunday was an absolute joy. The band was jumping with the East
Coast and Europe in the morning to AK, HI, JA, and VK in the afternoon. There
was some decent activity on 10 meters as well, mostly to South America.

The bands were wide open to Japan, but there didn't seem to be that many
stations on the air. I was hoping for an "all you can eat" Japanese buffet,
but those needed 3-pointers were not that plentiful.

I ran low power with my K3 into a log-periodic, with an inverted-L for 80m.
The only problem with the K3 is that you can hear many more stations than you
can work with low power.

73,

John, WA6L
