Comments:

FT1000MP, Alpha 78, 1 KW, TH6DXX, dipole, zepp, inverted vee.  20M seemed poor
and a lot of calls were unanswered.  I was on 40M at 0332Z when I realized that
the reason bands had seemed poor was that I had never put the amplifier on line
and I was running about 30 watts from the transceiver only.  So, I had been
really weak.  Congrats to US0MF and OH1VR who worked me on 20 and especially to
OK1WF who worked me on 40 when I was running only about 30 watts.  The last 28
minutes were a bit easier with a KW as intended.  40 and 80 seemed pretty good
without too much QRN.  Signals on 80M from both coasts were good, but activity
seemed low.  Apologies to the K9 whose call I couldn't get on 80M.  Thanks for
