Comments:

SCC sent me a nice certificate from last year's event a few weeks back for 1st
place N. America - Low Power so I wanted to make another effort this year. With
conditions seemingly a bit better, I was hoping to maintain enough for a
repeat.

This is not a 'biggie' but it was a fun event with the mults being our license
year, it is interesting to see how the years are represented.  From 1950 -
2011, I only missed getting 51,91,97,98,2000 and 08 which says hams young and
old are doing the RTTY thing. 

Beat last year's score by 30% and was really focused on keeping the error rate
down - last year was a 1.4% and I do feel I did better this year.

Heard a VU on 15m Saturday morning but was never able to get in but was a nice
find all the same. Moderate openings to EU from here - not spectacular.  All
bands seemed pretty noisey.

Contacts on Ten - one local, one PY and one W2 - it just would not open.  Could
not get the ball ever rolling on 40m - just too much atmospheric noise until the
wee hours of the morning.

Writelog/microHam crapped out 3 times in 24 hours - one time with a Blue Screen
of Death but recovered everything and got back into the fight.

Barely keeping awake wrapping this stuff up so off to dream about the ones that
got away.....
