Comments:

What a great way to check out a new rig! I got a new TS-590S on Friday,
configured and cabled it, and used it barefoot for the entire contest. It was a
learning experience, that's for sure. I'm VERY pleased with the results.

Good conditions throughout the times I was on. I'm surprised I didn't get more
Q's, but it's not as easy running 'em barefoot as with an amp! With the narrow
filters (ceiling and DSP), I could always find a slot somewhere to call CQ in.
What the filters WON'T do is clean up trashy signals nearby...nothing I could
do about that but QSY!

I think the CW ops are getting better every year!
