Comments:

First (casual) ARRL DX Contest participation since the return to DL. FT-857,
R7000 Vertical @ 15ft (no 80m kit!) and Excel for logging were less than ideal
conditions but I am very happy about all the QSOs, especially
 - contacting K8GL and W8MJ from my former home State MI
 - meeting more US friends 
 - working four stations from the West
 - making three QSOs on 80m using the R7000 and a tuner
