The bands were pretty good and I REALLY appreciate those who stuck with me to
pull me out of the noise.  It's a blast without a high power category - a LOT
more people can actually hear me.  Surprising not to even hear ND, NE, RI, MB,
NL NU, NWT, or HI here.  I heard VT a couple of times but could never connect. 
Getting some Q's on all 6 bands was great, though.

Equipment here: Orion at 5 Watts, 20/40/80m fan-vee at 45', 530+ foot horiz.
loop in the trees (might be broken - I just noticed there's a big loop of wire
hanging down way out in the woods), K9AY loop pointing to EU (probably should
have turned it around, but it's darned cold and icy out there ... )
