Comments:

Spent all of last week repairing all beverages which run thru thick woods, after
serious snow/ice storm.. Got all repairs done on Friday afternoon just before
contest (another possible ice storm next week )! Ugh ...
Spent Friday night mostly S&P'ing, but on Saturday night, when condx to EU
seemed vastly improved, really got interested in putting in a better effort.
Excellent signals from EU and So Am.,and except for some periods of powerline
noise, band was very quiet..
This is a far cry from back in the days of (Loran)power limits, roofing
filters, and pre beverage receiving antennas on 160 meters... We've come a long
way !
