Comments:

Just a few hours on. Guess most of the 100W was going into the ground or
straight up. Kudos to those who heard me. They were rare.

Not much for an antenna -- inverted-L sloping 45 degrees up to 70' then the
remaining 50' or so sloping down to 50' over a makeshift radial field of four
60-footers and a couple of 100-footers plus chainlink fence. 

Plenty of DX heard on the Beverage, but with a few exceptions I couldn't get a
QRZ? out of even the loudest domestic stations.

Last time out for this antenna. A new arrangement will be complete as soon as
WX warms.
