Comments:

This time the propagation was a little bit down comparative with last year
edition, but because all the WRTC competitors are back home and everyone seeks
to qualify for the next one, the results are way bigger. So it is very hard to
compete with big stations and astronomic scores from Eastern EU, specially in
M/S category where the top setups are sometimes pushed to the limit of the
rules.

Nevertheless, if you are looking for fun, the diversity of IARU is a good
choice. The 10 minutes rule for M/S (10 min / band-mode with no exception) is
very restrictive and keeps you alert in decisions, so long runs are not
affordable if you don't want to lose short openings, to cover all multiplier
areas. We used a single transceiver and worked in shifts, so we had to
alternate RUN with S&P periods or do them simultaneously SO2V style, but those
days when top scores in Multi-One were possible with only truly one station are
history. That means evolution, both conceptually and technically speaking.

It was again very relaxing to operate from home in Bucharest, at more than 200
km away from the station - this is evolution too, hi hi... :)) The internet
connection was stable this time and the setup prepared by Cornel YO4NA
performed very well as usual. To work remote SSB at contest speeds was a new
challenge, but the delay of few milliseconds didn't create any trouble at all
so I could easily handle the rates and have great fun.
