Comments:

For the second time the AFVL (Amateur Funk Verein Liechtenstein) participated in
the IARU HF Championship contest. This years participation was organized by
Waldemar-HB0YWR and took place from two locations:
- Gaflei (@1490m asl), Op's HB0YWR + HB9LCW, TS480-100W + Mag Loop + G5RV +
Vertical
- Malbun (@1670m asl), Op's PA3FGA + PA5MW + PC5A, TS590-100W + Vertical +
Diople

We noticed that some stations kept on "hearing" HB9 iso HB0 despite our
numerous corrections... Guess next year this will become less.

With just 100W and no beam antennas it was hard to get any runs going and it
was particularly frustrating hearing stations, mostly from the east with S7-9
(e.g. UU7J on 15m) who were not able to hear us... (alligator effect?) Sad to
conclude one needs at least a beam or 500+ W to be reasonably heard these
days.

Kudo's and thank you to those who did hear and worked us. It was still fun
being a rare multiplier.
