Comments:

Field Day ops across the country owe us a debt of gratitude, not for the modest
number of Q's we handed out, but for keeping Murphy occupied while the rest of
you got your stations on the air.  Advancing technology is great (computers,
rig control, sophisticated contest software, etc), but it also multiplies the
opportunities for problems and we seemed to have our share this year.  We
still, of course, had a spectacular time from our cabin location on the edge of
a national forest in Central Oregon.  Great wx, great company and plenty of Q's
to be had.  We barely missed last year's QSO total (by 2%, so not complaining)
and are already planning the "better" antennas, revised band schedule, improved
operating techniques, etc for next year.  Tnx for another fun contest weekend.
