Comments:

That was fun! Didn't know what to expect for condx but was pleasantly surprised
with 10 and 15....Had to do last minute repairs last weekend in 0 degree
weather as the 80 m doublet had broken in the recent high winds - nothing like
climbing trees and the tower in the middle of winter!

Started slowly, but that is the norm, and never was behind last year's number
of qsos and score, in fact, I passed last year's score at the 25 hour mark of
the contest.

Bottomless pit of qsos on 15 so I devoted a lot of time to that band. Never
really got going on 20 until Sunday afternoon. Picked off a few 10 m mults on
Saturday but was really happy I went back there on Sunday for The Big Show!

Didn't work anything really exotic but ended up with 91 DX entities - probably
could have been more if I would have made a more determined effort to search
out mults, however; I have to confess, I'm a rate junkie.

Lady Luck smiled on me Sunday evening - I was looking for a JA mult on 15 and
found several stations but it just was not going to happen with all the qrm and
only 5 watts. Took a brief excursion to 40 and when I returned to 15, I got
there just in time to hear one of the JAs say "are there any more VE/VA
stations?). Man, I got horseshoes!!!

As usual, it's a jungle out there when you run qrp!

73,

Doug
