Comments:

My first ARRL DX contest and first "big" contest since the Sept VHF QSO party
ten years ago.  I'm still pretty new to HF but not to contesting, so once I
knocked off the rust it was a blast and pretty much what I remembered... except
the callsigns are a lot more exotic.  ;)

The setup here is just an old Ten Tec Omni D running barefoot through a couple
of wire antennas.  In fact, I was surprised when 40 worked out to be my best
band since that's a random wire about 12ft off the ground!

Big thanks to everyone who was patient enough to listen for my little pipsqueek
signal, and I even managed to get a 5 band sweep (no 160 here) with 8P5A.  Good
times!
