Comments:

The 2nd year in a row this contest was hit by a solar "event".  Talk about
bad luck!

I don't know what it was...a solar storm, coronal mass ejection...whatever, 
it
messed things up!  Most Europeans were weak here, but at times, their signals
would pop-up to S9 for a few minutes, then trail off to weak.  Maybe an expert
could enlighten me on what was going on.

Nonetheless, lots of folks to work.  Thanks!
