Comments:

It was a 66% remote operation, with only one operator physically present in the
shack. Such kind of operation fits best for those who cannot join a station due
to professional duties, but otherwise would be able to put in some hours of
effort. This was my case, so I must thank to Cornel YO4NA for inviting me to
join online YR1C team from several hundreds kilometers away and offering the
necessary technical support. Also Silviu YO4NF was operating remote, from his
home.

The setup performed flawlessly, with no noticeable incidents, and so the
internet connection which played a vital role. There were some minor minuses,
such as the inability to use the rit or some filters, but everything else could
be controlled through the contesting software, like tuning in the band, jumping
to spots, returning to run frequency, selecting antennas, changing VFOs,
adjusting the power, rotating the beam, and so on, the mobility of the operator
being minimally affected. Due to little transitory delays of information
transfer via internet, I needed sometimes to ask for a repeat of the number
received or callsign, even if that station was very loud, so perhaps I sounded
at times like a lid >))

The propagation was a disaster comparative to those beautiful condx from SSB
part two months ago. Our target of 8 million points seemed all the time
unrealistic, but the local race with Ionut YO9WF / YQ9W kept us constantly
motivated.

See you next contests!
Tibi YO9GZU
