Comments:
Great fun with a poor setup, type fieeld day.
The multi-station, has worked with a tri-band in one direction.
A few QSOs with the antenna at about 6 feet off the ground and without rotor.
Setup:
ICOM 7800 & ICOM 7700
2 MICROHAM
3 PC PORTABLE
WINTEST 4.9.1
AMPLIFIER HOME MADE
The station runner, used a optibeam 12 / 4, about 10 feet off the ground.
80 meters - vertical 1 / 4 lambda
160 meters - inverted "L".
Competition just for fun and to test the limit of a successful setup so poor.
Our goal was to 2500/3000 QSO .... successful bet!!
Time on 46
Time off 6
Many stations understand EB3X - SB3X - only IB0, IS0 & IMO, Unusual CALL ....
