         Antennas : New sloping dipole, one end at 35' and other at 8'

          Soapbox : Our city lot has room only for a porch-mounted vertical
                    and about 70 ft. of wire from the house to the back
                    fence. Decided to give 40 M SO LP a try.  All S&P.
                    Nice to see the band in such good shape.  Antenna
                    slopes toward east from house; westward QSOs took more
                    effort but happy to work a handful of JA's, NH2T,
                    E51MAN, a couple of ZL's and VK's, and three stations
                    on Hawaii.

   established for amateur radio in my country. My report is
